The High Roller is located at The LINQ Promenade, which is arguably the most bustling hub on the Las Vegas Strip. It's surrounded by top Vegas attractions, making it super easy to slot into your itinerary even if you're only visiting for a short trip. We highly, highly recommend adding this to your list! If you're planning to catch some shows while in Vegas, world-famous Cirque du Soleil performances like "O" and "KÀ" can also be booked using an all-inclusive attraction pass. Bundling your show tickets with your High Roller pass is incredibly cost-effective, so definitely take a look!

Our High Roller Experience

We definitely recommend going at night—the sparkling neon lights of Vegas are unbeatable compared to daytime! The High Roller offers two types of tickets: a daytime ticket and an anytime ticket for evening rides. The daytime ticket works as long as you scan in before 5:00 PM. Cherry visited Vegas in late November, and in winter, the sun sets quite early. Luckily, we managed to scan our tickets at 4:50 PM, just in time! By the time we were up on the wheel, we were treated to a complete, breathtaking night view.

Both strollers and wheelchairs can be rolled straight onto the High Roller, and kids aged 0-3 ride for free! It's such a fantastic attraction to visit if you have little ones. There's even a separate, uncrowded boarding lane for those with strollers or anyone needing extra assistance.

The massive cabins can fit 40 to 50 people! But for our ride, besides me (Cherry) and our little guy, there were only two other Japanese tourists in the cabin with us. The cabins are fully air-conditioned, which is an absolute lifesaver in the summer if you want a quick escape from the desert heat to relax in cool comfort.

When you first board, you're still quite low, so the view of the Strip on one side is temporarily blocked by the surrounding hotels.

But on the other side, you can already spot The Sphere!

Our son sat perfectly in his stroller, absolutely mesmerized by the glowing city below.

The view when the cabin reaches the very top is just unbelievably gorgeous.

Your time at the absolute peak is fleeting, and before you know it, you're on the way back down!

The Sphere continuously loops its visual displays, and honestly, you could spend over half the ride just staring at it! No matter how many times we see it, it never stops being mind-blowing.

Later on, Cherry texted one of these high-altitude photos to Kevin, who was attending a conference over at The Venetian. He instantly replied, "Where did you take this?!" Haha, that just proves how stunning this aerial perspective really is!

While the view of The Sphere is undeniably breathtaking, don't forget that the Las Vegas Strip on the opposite side is equally spectacular!

From the High Roller, you get a crystal-clear, close-up look at iconic spots like the Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, and Paris Las Vegas. Under the night sky, the Strip feels like a galaxy of stars—countless lights twinkling with absolute glamour. It’s gorgeous! The only slight bummer was that the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas was mostly blocked from our angle.

Those 30 minutes flew by so fast, and before we knew it, we were quietly back on the ground. To sum up our High Roller experience, Cherry gives it a massive thumbs-up! Seeing the full panorama of The Sphere and the dazzling Strip from such a close, elevated vantage point is truly awe-inspiring. The only downside? The ride is just too short! 🤣
If you're the kind of traveler who loves to leisurely sip, snack, and take in high-altitude views at your own pace, we highly recommend heading to the northern end of the Strip to The STRAT. From their 108th-floor SkyPod Observation Deck, you get a full 360-degree view of Las Vegas. Although The Sphere is a bit further away, you get an unobstructed, straight-line view of the entire Las Vegas Strip from start to finish! The best part? The SkyPod Observation Deck has no time limit. You can easily watch the daylight fade into sunset and stay right through the evening!
