🌴 Hilton Honors Points

The Lagoon View Suite is the standard room type at Conrad Bora Bora Nui that you can book entirely with points (Standard Room Reward). It currently costs 89,000 Hilton Honors points per night (updated in 2020, up from the previous 80,000 points). Of course, if there are no Standard Room Rewards available for your dates, you can look into Premium Room Rewards, but be warned—they usually require an astronomical amount of points! For instance, if you can't snag the Lagoon View Suite at the base rate, it can easily jump to over 171,000 points per night. And if you have your heart set on a King Deluxe Overwater Villa, you'll be shelling out 303,000 points or more per night. Yes, you read that right—over 300,000 points just for one night!

If you want to stay in a different room category, another great strategy is to book the standard room with points first, and then email the hotel directly to politely inquire about cash upgrade costs. If you hold a high-tier elite status with Hilton, you might even get lucky and score a complimentary upgrade if there happens to be availability when you check in!

🌴 Suite Interior

The Lagoon View Suite is centrally located within the Conrad resort, and it actually shares an entryway with the suite next door. Right as we walked into the foyer, we were greeted by a neat little cabinet area~

On top of the cabinet, there's a coffee machine and an electric kettle. Tucked inside the cabinet, you'll find a mini-fridge, tea and coffee mugs, and an ice bucket. You can easily fill up the ice bucket at the ice machines located around the resort. The mini-fridge is stocked with some fantastic local goodies: two cans of Moorea pineapple juice, two cans of local Hinano Tahiti beer, and two bottles of water.

Here is the very first view you get when you walk in 👇🏻. There's an inviting little living room area, and you can look straight through the floor-to-ceiling windows out to the balcony.

The bedroom definitely has a dreamy, romantic vibe! The bed is draped in beautiful white canopy curtains—it feels absolutely magical~ Next to the bed, there's a small desk and a massive full-wall closet area to store all of our luggage and clothes.

The window right above the desk gives you a lovely view of the lush gardens outside!!

In addition to the TV in the living room, there's actually a second TV right in front of the bed! The central TV wall acts as a smart partition between the living area and the bedroom. Since there are no heavy doors separating the two spaces, the room feels wonderfully open and spacious!

🌴 Bathroom

The bathroom layout is nearly identical to the King Horizon Suite we stayed in later on our trip. There's a massive window right behind the bathtub, which floods the space with gorgeous natural light, making the entire bathroom feel incredibly bright and expansive~

We love that the bathroom features two separate vanities facing each other—perfect for couples!

The shower and the toilet are in separate enclosed stalls, but they use the same beautiful patterned tiles to tie the whole aesthetic together seamlessly~

You can actually see the lush garden and glimpses of the overwater bungalows straight from the bathroom!

🌴 Amenities

The toiletries provided are from the luxurious "Shanghai Tang" brand, a signature standard for Conrad hotels worldwide~

To sum it up, this Lagoon View Suite is situated right in the heart of the Conrad resort. It is incredibly close to the infinity pool, beach facilities, restaurants, gym, and all the other main resort amenities. Everything is just a short, easy walk away—we completely avoided having to call for a golf cart buggy during our stay here!

The suite itself is quite spacious and comfortable. As we mentioned, the floor plan is basically identical to the King Horizon Suite we moved to later. The only real difference is in the interior finishes; in this suite, the walls are all painted white (except for the bathroom).

Also, because there are other guest rooms located directly above this one, the Lagoon View Suite doesn't feature the high, vaulted pitched ceilings you'd find in the standalone overwater bungalows or the top-floor Horizon View Suites. Overall, it lacks a bit of that traditional Polynesian "cabin" resort feel. But hey, comparison is the thief of joy! Taken on its own, it's still a wonderfully cozy and comfortable suite.

Its absolute biggest advantage is its unbeatable convenience. The main pool and beach are literally steps away from the room. Forgot your sunscreen? Just pop right back in. Finished swimming in the ocean? You can stroll straight back to rinse off in your own luxurious bathroom. If your main goal is simply to chill out on the beach and lounge by the pool all day, we honestly think this suite is the top choice! The downsides, however, are the lack of that distinct island bungalow atmosphere and a less-than-stellar balcony view. Because it's right in the resort's high-traffic hub, you'll frequently see golf carts zipping back and forth right in front of your balcony. It definitely compromises the peace, quiet, and privacy a bit. You really can't have your cake and eat it too! If you're a light sleeper or easily bothered by noise, we probably wouldn't recommend this specific suite, and you might want to look into the resort's other room options~
